I am a board member of the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County which supports tens of thousands of childcare and Pre K children. I attest that the FarmDaddy® system is by our invitation from the Food Security Task Force now participating in a pilot project in childcare centers in Orange County. The FarmDaddy® growing system is a great tool that we have utilized in our program with success. One can grow a wide variety of vegetables and herbs using this self-watering container that removes the guesswork involved with irrigation. We were looking for something to grow our own tomatoes and bought all kinds of things to grow our own vegetables and had no luck. We spent a lot of money and wound up throwing them in the garbage. Then we came across the FarmDaddy®. I had my doubts but I was wrong. I had so many tomatoes, and all I had to do is hook up the water hose, fertilize once a month, and don't worry about a thing. We can finally GROW vegetables and herbs!

We bought one of these FarmDaddys at a garden show, and it's been awesome. We love the IDEA of growing fresh vegetables and herbs, but the reality of weeding, fertilizing, and watering means we rarely have any success. The FarmDaddy® takes care of all these things for us now. We grew basil, dill, and lots of leaf lettuces over the spring. Now we're growing peppers and tomatoes. And it took no maintenance whatsoever. All the plants have flourished. We like the FD so much, we bought one as a gift and another one for ourselves to connect to the first one.

Amazingly easy

Our family bought 4 of these before Thanksgiving and we are amazed at how simple it was to set up and even easier to maintain! Just hooking up a hose and each one self watering independently is awesome. It takes the guess work out of how much water is needed.

We wanted to reach out to you to share with you an update on my birthday present!

We bought 6 FarmDaddy® bins at the Leu Garden Gardening Show in the spring. It was a tough decision because I had just lost my job and it was an expense we were hesitant to invest in. A smart investment, nevertheless. What an amazing system you have created. We kept our "in earth" garden, just to do a comparison, then transplanted half of the plants to the FarmDaddy® system. Suffice it to say, most of the planted "in earth" have gone back to the earth...as compost... the broccoli bolted in the heat and went to compost, the lettuce is now over, the tomatoes still haven't produced and the kale is still trudging along.

The FarmDaddy® system, however, is AMAZING!!! We are still harvesting lettuce, despite the summer heat, as well as the broccoli which was transplanted from the ground. The kale is a daily harvest, and the tomatoes are doing spectacular. We've now planted eggplant, leeks, basil, and marigolds for the tomatoes. My only regret is we didn't buy a few more bins.

We have fed 3 of our neighbors, and they love your system. I also saw the bins for sale at Lowe's and am so excited you are now partnering with them. To comply with our home owner's association and so I could garden standing up, my wonderful husband built wood raised boxes for the bins to sit in two at a time. They turned out fabulous!

You have created a real winner! Thank you for sharing you idea with others and for your tenacity in sticking it out while trying to bring it to market. You are feeding my family and so many others.

Having practiced nutritionally-based medicine for the past eleven years I can truly say that optimal health is critically dependent on eating large amounts of fresh, raw vegetables. Using a FarmDaddy® to grow amazingly delicious and hearty vegetables is one of the best ways I can think of to get the valuable phytonutrients that are so important to our overall health.

My buddy Ron told me about FarmDaddy® and boy am I glad he did! I am totally amazed at how easy it is to grow gardens effortlessly and in places you couldn't dream of before. I truly believe this is the answer to the world's food shortages. I've got plans to purchase more and daisy chain them along my seawall. I absolutely love my FarmDaddy®; fresh fruit and vegetables grown right outside my door, no pesticides, no other human hands, and no spending $3 a pound for tomatoes. But I would have to say the best part is that it is practically maintenance free, completely self-watering. It's perfect! Who's got the time to water every day? I would highly recommend the FarmDaddy® to anyone, especially lazy folks like myself. Try one and I guarantee you will be ordering several more.

I just wanted to say how much I am loving the FarmDaddy®. We started with two and added three more within just a couple of weeks. I also have a small hydroponic garden and the items in my FarmDaddy® are growing at a faster rate than the hydro. If I had to complain about anything...it would be that once it is set up there is absolutely no work to do but watch your garden grow (not much of a complaint). I can't wait to add even more FarmDaddy® units to the garden. We are a family of five and I am looking forward to eating all my produce from my own backyard. I rent a house and didn't want to tear up the backyard to plant a garden so FarmDaddy® is great for me. I have grown yellow squash, tomatoes, and okra. They all did really well and tasted delicious! This past winter there was a lot of freezing temperatures which was killing a lot of outdoor plants etc. With the FarmDaddy® being portable and not planted underground i was able to move them in the garage over night. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Just thought I would give you and update on how my boxes are doing. These peppers and tomatoes where planted 5 weeks ago, and are doing great. This is the best any of my endeavors in gardening. We have more blossoms than I can count, and did not have to do anything but plant.

My name is Jenna I am a mother to a wonderful 4 month old baby boy! Me and my soon to be husband LOVE our FarmDaddy®. This has to be one of the best inventions, especially being a new mom and not having much time to tend to a garden, watering weeding etc. Having the boxes doesn't only save us money and time but it keeps us healthy with fresh produce to eat on a nightly basis. We have onions, tomatoes, herbs, zucchini, green peppers and more. Nothing beats walking to your back yard to grab ingredients needed for dinner and not having to load up the baby just to drive to the store to pick up the 1 thing you forgot. :O) Easy to tend to and you don't even have to water them. We plan on getting even more and having a veggie farm.
